Why were we set up?
The National Consumer Council is encouraging consumers to become more involved within their local communities but realize that there needs to be more mechanisms for this. The Consumer Strategy for Northern Ireland stated that consumers need adequate protection, and that businesses need to know what consumers think. Their vision is to have confident consumers making informed decisions. They believe in the existence of a virtuous circle between demanding consumers and improved business performance. Referrals UK will assist in making this vision a reality by giving the community a voice.

We are consumers just like you who have a family and a job. Our belief is that good service should be passed on to other members and bad service should not be tolerated. We are committed to building this business with honesty and integrity. We have very exciting ideas for this website but we need your help.
